1153144 - No Labor Resource Found for Project Confirmation When Internal Employee Releases Time Entry On Project Task

When you, as an internal employee, release time entry on project task, you may encounter the error No labor resource found for project confirmation.

1. Go to the Home work center.
2. Select the Self-Services Overview view.
3. Select the Edit Time Sheet link.
4. Record time on a project task.
5. Select the Release|Selected Period button then the error message No labor resource found for project confirmation may appear.

When you record time on a project task, the system needs to determine the cost rate which is defined in Labor Resource Rate in order to post the expense to the project. If the system cannot find the employee's corresponding cost rate based on his/her Cost Center and Job ID, error message No labor resource found for project confirmation is thrown.

Please follow the below steps to create employee's labor resource rate:

1. Go to the Cost and Revenue work center.
2. Select the Master and Data view and Resource sub view.
3. Select the New button and Labor Resource. 
4. Make sure to open the value help and search for Cost Center ID to which employee belongs and the same for the Job ID to which the employee's belongs to.
5. Fill in other fields and select the Save and Close.
6. The newly created labor resource should appear in the list. Select it and choose the Edit button.
7. In the Valuation tab, you can adjust the settings such as Cost Center Assignments, Cost Rates and Job Assignment as needed.

Please make sure the labor resource's Valid From in Valuation should not earlier than employee's Time Agreement's Valid From:

1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
2. Select the Employees view.
3. Select the employee and choose the Edit button.
4. Select the Time Profile tab. The current Time Agreement's Start Date must be earlier than or equal to the labor resource's. If it is not the case, you need to adjust Start Date in employee's Time Profile and/or labor resource's Valuation accordingly.

After valid labor resource rate is defined, when employee records time on a project task, the corresponding cost rate will be retrieved based on his/her cost center and job ID. The costs (cost rate times recorded time) will be posted to the project then.
