SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1182272 - Error: "Impossible to show this page HTTP 500 server internal error in Internet Explorer" and "W3SVC error" in the event viewer when you try to log into WebIntelligence.

Symptom

You try to connect to WebIntelligence after the login page and you receive a white page with the following error message:

"Impossible to show this page HTTP 500 server internal error in Internet Explorer"

And, the event viewer has the entry "DCOM" and "W3SVC".

"Source: DCOM

Event ID: 10010

User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

Description: The server {3D14228D-FBE1-11D0-995D-00C04FD919C1} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Source: W3SVC

Event ID: 36

User: N/A

Description: The server failed to load application 'AppPath'. The error was 'Server execution failed'. "
