Symptom

After selecting which database you would like to install, you may encounter the following error message:
 
Windows:
"The Index InfoObject 0 tried to create a custom index for SI_GUID but one already exists" 
 
UNIX:
"Can't verify db logon. Would you like to continue?"
 
Checking the contents of the following file {installdir}/setup/logs/dbcheck, it has an associated error message:
"The Index InfoObject 0 tried to create a custom index for SI_GUID but one already exists"
