1183787 - Group mapping does not work when you use the LDAP Configuration Tool for Microsoft Active Directory to configure the LDAP than then try to log in as any LDAP Server group user.

Symptom

You configured LDAP through the LDAP Configuration Tool for Microsoft Active Directory.

When you selected "user mapping", you can log into either InfoView or BusinessObjects.

When you selected "group mapping":

- When logging into InfoView, you receive the error "Invalid username or password".

- When logging into BusinessObjects, you receive the error "External Security Connection Timeout (USR 00104)".

The following is an extract of the "securityConnector.log" file created under the path "[BusinessObjects]\nodes\[server_name]\[cluster_node]\logs":
