1185419 - How to change the default language and locale settings in a Citrix environment for Desktop Intelligence and Designer

Symptom

  • By default the interface language and locale settings for Desktop Intelligence and Designer are English with American formatting for dates and numbers (e.g. MM/DD/YYYY).
  • The requirement is to set the language and locale for all users in the Citrix environment so that they all start with the same settings, yet are still able to change them manually afterwards.
  • Changing the settings manually within the application on the Citrix server is not working, as it only changes for that user who is logged in at that moment.
