Symptom
A report runs successfully in Crystal Reports but when
published to BusinessObjects Enterprise or Crystal Reports Server,
it fails to run on the server and the following error message
appears:
"The request could not be submitted for background processing.
Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters".
The report connects to its data source using an ODBC
connection, and the Data Source Name (DSN) is configured
with SQL Authentication specified. The DSN has been properly
configured and tested on the server, and you have
verified that the logon parameters are entered properly
in the object properties on the server.
You notice the Enterprise server using a system account
to access the data source (while monitoring from the database
side).
