1187080 - How LOV cache works in Web Intelligence/Deskto Intelligence in Infoview

In Designer you have an object with a list of values (LOV). When this object is used for a list of values, you want the list to be updated (refreshed) each time it is used. In the object's Properties tab, under Associate a List of Values, you check the Automatic refresh before use and Export with universe options.

You use this object in a prompt in a Web Intelligence document. When a user logs into InfoView, views, and refreshes the document, the prompt shows the up to date LOV; however, upon subsequent refreshes (during the same session of the document), the LOV remains the same, even though the data has changed.

If you close the document and reopen it, initially the list of values is updated, but again on subsequent refreshes the LOV remains the same. In order to see the up to date LOV the user needs to click the Refresh Values button in the prompt/LOV display.
