1189406 - Filter variables do not update in Desktop Intelligence report

Symptom

In BusinessObjects version 6.5, the following workflow is performed:

  1. Create a Desktop Intelligence report using the Island Resorts Marketing sample database using the following dimension objects: Year, Country, Resort, Customer. Use Revenue as the measure object.
  2. Create a variable called Filter with the formula <customer> = "Baker".
    The table data is based on the variable showing 0 and 1. It is chosen as 1 and shows the data for customer Baker.
  3. Click Data > Variables > Filter to edit.
  4. Change the formula to <customer> = "Oneda".

The table data does not change and shows the data for customer Baker.
