1196381 - Group suppression does not impact the Group Tree in Crystal Reports

• Group Tree shows suppressed group value.
• Group tree shows all groups even the values that are suppressed using the Group Selection expert in Crystal Reports.

1. In Crystal Reports, create a report based on any data source.
2. Insert a group, and a summary on the report.
3. Insert a Group Selection Formula that will conditionally suppress groups on the report.
4. When viewing the report, notice groups on the report are suppressed based on the Group Selection Formula, but the suppressed group name still shows in the Group Tree pane.

• By design, the Group Tree is created before the Group Selection Formula is executed, and this is why it shows all the values in the Group Tree.

• There is unfortunately no option to modify how the Group Tree is generated, and remove values that are conditionally suppressed on the report.
