1196395 - Difference between Designer SDK and Designer Application interface when importing a universe from the repository

Symptom

In order to import a universe from the repository using the Designer SDK, you need to use the following method:

Import(UniverseDomainName As String, UniverseName As String, [Lock])

This imports the universe from the repository and saves it in the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user profile>\Application Data\Business Objects\Business Objects 6.0\universes\Universe

It does not, however, open the imported universe in Designer. This is different from when you use the user interface in the Designer Application. There, the menu item (File > Import) will import the selected universe from the repository, save it in the universe folder and automatically display it in Designer.
