You need to perform a safe recovery if:
- The location of the Security Domain has changed.
- One of the parameters in the connection string, such as the user name or password, has been changed.
- The "BOMain.key" file has been inadvertently moved, renamed or damaged.
- You receive error "Cannot retrieve time reference for the Security Domain" and you cannot log into BusinessObjects.
