1197413 - Repository tables are missing in Oracle database after migration from BusinessObjects version 5.1.x to version 6.5.x

Symptom

After migrating from BusinessObjects version 5.1.x to BusinessObjects version 6.5.x, repository tables are missing for the Oracle database.

When testing the integrity of the universe domain, the following error message appears:

"Universe Domain Is Not Valid ADM0003".

This behavior occurs with the following workflow:

  1. Install BusinessObjects version 6.5.x on the client computer.
  2. Create a new database schema.
  3. Import the old live schema dump to it.
  4. Create a new key file using Supervisor 6.5.x.
  5. Allow Supervisor to upgrade the repository.
  6. Update connection details for document and universe repositories.
  7. Convert existing reports.
