1197640 - Crystal Report object not found in "Add new Item..." dialogue of Visual Studio .NET

When attempting to create a new Crystal Report in the Visual Studio 2003 IDE, the Crystal Report object is missing from the "Add New Item..." dialogue

This issue can happen when Crystal Reports 2008 is installed side-by-side with a Crystal Reports XIR2 installation and Crystal Reports XIR2 is uninstalled after installing Crystal Reports 2008.

If Crystal Reports XIR2 is not needed for further development, then uninstall Crystal Reports XIR2 prior to integrating Crystal Reports 2008 with Visual Studio 2003.
