In BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence XI in 3-tier mode, the following error message appears:
"CS, unexpected behavior".
A series of error messages follows, at the rate of one message per data provider, that the connection required to refresh the report is unavailable.
This behavior persists even after you have done the following:

Increased idle connection time to 240 on the Desktop Intelligence Report Server

Increased idle report job time to 240 on the Desktop Intelligence Report Server

Completed the instructions in kBase Article C2016957, meaning you have increased sessionState parameter in two web.config files to 240 each.
