Symptom

In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI, the MySQL repository database does not start, and the following error message appears in the mysql.log file:
 
"[ERROR]  Fatal error: Can't open privilege tables: Table 'mysql.host' doesn't exist - mysql ended".
