1198047 - The parameter passed is not the value that was selected when using an opendocument URL

Symptom

  • Passing a value from a cross-tab as the parameter value for another report
  • Passing the value through a openDocument URL using the openDocument method
  • OpenDocument URL uses the following syntax:

http://appserver:8080/businessobjects/enterprise115/desktoplaunch/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?&sDocName=report.rpt&sRefresh=Y&lsSParameter="+{table.fieldname}

  • Parameter value passed is not the value selected
  • Parameter value appears to reflect the first record in the cross-tab for that particular field
