For example, You can select the backgrounds from the components category to create divisions and designate groups of related components.

Sizing

Backgrounds employ advanced sizing that allows them to maintain effects and preserve their visual integrity at virtually any size. You can view the same backgrounds, all with different sizes.

NOTE

Notice how the drop shadow effect is maintained across all three backgrounds.

Skins
Each skin has a number of different backgrounds that you can use. Each background maintains the look and feel of that particular skin. Combined with the appearance options of the backgrounds, you can create a multitude of different looks using the background components.
