In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2, when linking to OpenDocument from Web Intelligence, it is possible to use a relative path.
This allows the report designer to avoid hard-coding the server name in the OpenDocument link. Otherwise, when testing the relative path the following error message may appear:
"The page you requested is not found".
