1198651 - Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Numeric charts are being displayed incorrectly in Scientific Notation format

Symptom

After applying Service Pack 3, Fix Pack 3.1 or Fix Pack 3.2 to Crystal Reports XI R2, the default chart numeric y-axis label is changed to scientific notation resulting in incorrect formatting for numeric values on the charts.

Cause

This behavior occurs after applying BusinessObjects XI Release 2 Service Pack 3, FP3.1 and FP3.2.

Resolution

For users who have already downloaded Service Pack 3, Fix Pack 3.1 or Fix Pack 3.2, a Limited Access fix (LAFix) has been created for the following platforms to address this issue. This LAFix will fix the problem for machines that have already had Service Pack 3, Fix Pack 3.1 or Fix Pack 3.2 applied.

The following 5 LAFixes will be made available on ESD site under the service packs and updates section.

LAFix3.0.4-WIN.zip
LAFix3.0.4-HP.tar.gz
LAFix3.0.4-Lin.tar.gz
LAFix3.0.4-Sol.tar.gz
LAFix3.0.4-AIX.tar.gz

This behavior has been resolved and the fix has been built into an updated Service Pack 3. This new SP3 can be re-downloaded and once applied that will resolve this problem. The updated Service Pack 3 has now been made available on the ESD site.
