The colour of texts in
fields cannot be formatted within any Crystal Reports
and the error message of
"Visual C++ Runtime Library: Runtime Error. Program c:\Program
Files\Business Objects\Crystal Reports 11\crw32.exe. This
application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Contact Support team... " is received.
Cause
This issue happens because the installation of Crystal Reports has not been successful, despite a message stating that it has been successfully installed.
Resolution
Follow
the knowledge base article c2017464 to manually uninstall
Crystal Reports and reinstall it again.
Log in to the operating system as Administrator after the install. Any any Anti-virus programs and other spyware programs activated in background for other applications need to be stopped as well.
