Symptom

In BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence, a file on the local computer or in an email attachment cannot be opened by double-clicking it.

When attempting to open the report using the Open with option, the busobj.exe does not appear in the list. Also, BusinessObjects does not appear in the Recommended or Other Programs sections of the Open with dialog box.
