1199279 - Error: "'ProcessDPCommands' API. (Error: WIS 30270)" on Linux/UNIX when viewing a Web Intelligence report

Symptom

On Linux/UNIX, when attempting to view a Web Intelligence report the following error message appears:
 
"ProcessDPCommands' API. (Error: WIS 30270)".

Tracing logs for the Web Intelligence report server show the following error:

"2008/01/14 22:32:39.714|>>|E| |18826|1492138928| |||||||||||||||**ERROR:C3_dacs:CS::Error : (CS) "Invalid native charset : AL32UTF8" . [kc3cdbtbdacs.cpp;876]".
