1199818 - Unable to add Windows Active Directory Group in the Central Management Console

Symptom

When defining an Active Directory group in the Central Management Console (CMC) for WINAD authentication, the browser times out. The log file for the Central Management Server (CMS) logs the following error message:

[Tue Jul 17 21:14:06 2007] 7052 6908 trace message: WINAD: CAccountEntity::InitFromNTName() -- Could not load properties for DomainName\AD_GroupName from AD service
[Tue Jul 17 21:14:06 2007] 7052 6908 trace message: WINAD: ADAccountFactory::GetFromNT() -- Could not initialize account.
[Tue Jul 17 21:14:06 2007] 7052 6908 trace message: SecWinAD Error: invalid parameters in CAccountEntity::PopulateProps().
[Tue Jul 17 21:14:06 2007] 7052 6908 trace message: WINAD: CADImpl::GetError()"
