1200782 - Error: "The Business Objects version installed on your computer cannot be upgraded to the same patch level as the server" when attempting to update 3-tier mode (ZABO) in InfoView

Symptom

In BusinessObjects version 6.5, when attempting to update 3-tier (ZABO) in InfoView, the following error message appears:

"The Business Objects version installed on your computer cannot be upgraded to the same patch level as the server".

The error message persists after a critical hot fix has been applied to the server that updates ZABO successfully. However, the particular client is not updated.
