1201024 - Error: "There was an error while retrieving data from the server..." when refreshing a report object in the Central Management Console

Symptom

When refreshing a report object in the Central Management Console (CMC), the following error message appears:

"There was an error while retrieving data from the server: Failed to read data from report file <report.rpt>. Reason: Failed to open print engine for <report.rpt>. Ensure that CRPE32 is installed on this computer."
