Symptom
Using the to_char function on a date field always returns alower case result in an Oracle database.
For example, the syntax is:
to_char(DATE_VALUE, FORMAT)
The FORMAT argument is like 'Mon', 'mon' or 'MON'. The abovesyntax should be pushed down to Oracle and the expected output islike the Oracle to_char function. However, the output is alwayslower case.
