1201225 - Error: "Could not load type 'CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.WebContent._default'" when opening the CMC

Symptom

In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI, when opening the Central Management Console (CMC) launchpad, the following error message appears:

"Server Error in '/businessobjects/Enterprise115/WebTools/adminlaunch' Application.

Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.
