1201359 - Error: "LDAP Authentication with an empty password is not supported when single sign on is not enabled" when trying to launch InfoView

Symptom

An internal portal uses Netegrity SiteMinder for authentication management. A BusinessObjects system shares the same domain with the portal, but it is not protected by SiteMinder and is not configured to use SiteMinder Single Sign-On.

When attempting to launch InfoView, the following error message appears:

"Error: LDAP Authentication with an empty password is not supported when single sign on is not enabled."
