1201604 - The RelativeDate function only works at GMT

Symptom

The RelativeDate function does not work in any other time zone other than GMT.

If you run a RelativeDate function such as:

RelativeDate(currentdate ();-1)

to pick up yesterdays date before 11am in Australia, you will get a date of two days ago (as at 24/01/2008). If you rerun that after 11am it will pick up the correct date; however, this is only due to the fact that GMT has reached midnight. It is not referencing the server date and time.
