1201650 - Designer fails to respond when attempting to import a universe


In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2, when attempting to import a universe in Designer by clicking File > Import, Designer fails to respond and needs to be terminated using Task Manager.

No error message or warnings are produced. No log files are created when attempting BO Trace.
