Symptom

How to export a dashboard to PDF with landscape orientation?

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius 2008
  • SAP BusinessObjects Dashboard Design 4.x

Resolution

  1. Open the Dashboard in Dashboard designer/xcelsius.
  2. Export to PDF.
  3. Open the PDF file with Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader).
  4. Click View > Rotate View > Clockwise.
  5. Save the document.

NOTE
You may use this method in Acrobat reader, but any changes made to the PDF will not be saved.
