Symptom
You are unable to import WSDL reference from Data Integrator (DI) to Visual Studio .NET 2003 or Visual Studio .NET 2005. Instead, an error message appears.
Workflow
You create a batch job in Data Integrator. In the DI Web Administrator, you share this batch job to the DI-published WSDL web service, such that a web service client can invoke a DI batch job on the DI job server configured to run the job.
You would like to use this WSDL file as a reference in a Visual Studio project, but when you import the WSDL reference (ex: http://servername:28080/admin/servlet/webservices?wsdl) into Visual Studio .NET 2003 the following error message appears:
"c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DIclient\Web References\netboe\Reference.map(1): Custom tool error: Unable to import WebService/Schema. Unable to import binding 'Connection_Operations' from namespace 'http://www.businessobjects.com'. Unable to import operation 'Logout'. Element 'SessionID' from namespace 'http://www.businessobjects.com/DataIntegrator/ServerX.xsd' is not a complex type and cannot be used as a System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHeader."
"If you attempt the same procedure using Visual Studio .NET 2005 the following error message appears:
"Error 1 Unable to import binding 'Connection_Operations' from namespace 'http://www.businessobjects.com'".
