Symptom
- Attempting to log on to Java InfoView or BI Launchpad using Active Directory (AD) authentication, the following error message appears:
"Account Information Not Recognized: Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a member of a valid mapped group and try again". - Also may get error:
FWM 00005 - When checking the stdout.log file, the following error message appears:
Authentication failed. Cannot get kdc for realm [DOMAIN PLACEHOLDER]
KrbException: Can not get kdc for realm [DOMAIN PLACEHOLDER]
KrbException: Fail to create credential. (63) - No service creds - When checking BI Launchpad Web Application logs, the following error appears:
LoginContext failed. No valid credentials provided (Mechanism level: Fail to create credential. (63) - No service creds)
GSSException: No valid credentials provided (Mechanism level: Fail to create credential. (63) - No service creds) - Manual authentication using thick client using Central Configuration Manager (CCM) works as expected
