When scheduling a Desktop Intelligence object in InfoView, there is an option to use the pre-caching. In there you can select the formats to pre-load the cache with when scheduling. These formats are Microsoft Excel, HTML and Adobe Acrobat (PDF).

Q2. Is the XLS format retrieved from the ZIP file when a user saves the report as .xls?
