Symptom
A full client report, displayed in both Desktop Intelligence and InfoView, does not represent data correctly in a cross tab form. All totals are displayed correctly but some of the detail data inside the cross tab are missing.
Steps to reproduce:
1. A cross tab has only one object in its header and it is a
variable defined using an if-then-else statement:
= If <Object1>="Value1" Then "" Else If
<Object1>="Value2" Then "" Else ("Type
"+<Object1>)
The actual column values can be, for example: "Type 1", "Type 2",
"Type 3" and "".
2. For the "Type 3" and "" columns, no details are displayed in the
cross tab, but the aggregation in the footer of the cross tab is
correct.
3. The original formula creates an empty column name. It looks like
some parts of the calculation engine can and some cannot handle it
properly when used as a column header.
