1203507 - Data Integrator job fails with oracommon9 error in the stack trace

Symptom

When running a Data Integrator job using the Oracle 9i clientand Oracle 10g server, it fails with some errors. This usuallyresults in a dump file, with a call stack that looks like thefollowing:
