1203738 - Error: "An internal error occurred while calling the 'processDPCommands' API. (Error: WIS 30270)" when refreshing report

Symptom

A Web Intelligence report is refreshed with a particular date range and the following error message appears:

"Error Message: 30270: An internal error occurred while calling the 'processDPCommands' API. (Error: WIS 30270) BOException caught:RESULT=80004005;WHAT=RefreshBatch failed "

With other date ranges the report refreshes successfully. The same data will refresh successfully in Desktop Intelligence.

You may also see a GPF in Desktop Intelligence if resizing the column of certain dimension data.

Log files show exceptions as follows:

ERROR:C3_dacs:tbCnxSrvrRecordSet::MoveNext : Unknown exception [kc3cdbtbdacs.cpp;1466]
ERROR:C3_GenericDA:cdbDARowsetCursor::Fetch : Fail to Move Next : false [kc3cdbgenda.cpp;265]
