1204061 - Additional Crystal Reports Designer functions cannot be viewed within Visual Studio CR Report Designer

While opening the Crystal Report in design mode in VS.NET IDE, additional functions in the formula editor and other areas are not available as there are in the full version of Crystal Report Designer (cr32.exe).

The embedded Crystal Reports Designer embedded in Visual Studio has always been a "Basic" version of the report designer.

There are no plans now or in the future to enhance this version, it will stay in parity with current versions of the Full CR Designer but not be feature complete.

To get the full functionality please purchase a full version of Crystal Reports Designer.
