1204295 - Milestones are not shown in a Gantt chart in Crystal Reports

You create a report in Crystal Reports using a Gantt chart that shows the start date and end date.

If the start date and end date correspond, the chart is not displayed properly, in fact, only vertical lines are displayed instead of horizontal bars.

The issue is by design because the Gantt chart type currently works with dates and not with DateTime.

If the start date and end date are the same, the value shown from the chart is always equal to zero.

Use the Depth Effect option from Chart Expert:

 

- once the chart is created, right-click on the chart

- select Chart Expert

- from the Type tab, check the option "Use depth effect"

 

More: the depth effect can also be reduced from the menu 'ChartOptions'  in the Appearance tab.
