The same Crystal Report XI R2 report opens much slower on
some computers than on others. In some instances the
degradation is 10 fold.
Cause
Page Setup on a specific computer-printer configuration affect the rendering during the opening of the Crystal Report.
Resolution
The solution is to optimize the rendering of the Crystal
Report.
Steps:
1) Go to File > Page Setup
2) Check the "No Printer" checkbox in the Printer
Options
3) Save the report and reopen
The Crystal Report should now open much faster on
the computer, which previously showed performance
degradation.
