1205224 - Error: ""Cannot access the repository. (USR0013)" when logging on using Active Directory authentication with Designer or Desktop Intelligence

Logging on with a Windows Active Directory (AD) alias from a Business Object client tool, the following error message appears:

"Cannot access the repository. (USR0013) - [repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed (Security plugin error: An error has occurred in the plugin, but the plugin is unable to return a detailed error message.(hr=#0x80042a01)".

In German, the error message appears as follows:

"Es kann nicht auf das Repository zugegriffen werden. (USR0013)
[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Fehler in Sicherheits-Plugin: Im Plugin ist ein Fehler aufgetreten, aber es kann keine detaillierte Fehlermeldung ausgegeben werden.(hr=#0x80042a01)".

The user can log on from the same computer with an Enterprise alias.
