Symptom

In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2, when attempting to create or refresh a Desktop Intelligence report in InfoView, the following error message appears:

"Error: INF".

When checking the trace logs, the one or both of the following error messages appear:

"File not found"

or

"The filename or extension is too long".
