Symptom
BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2 for Windows is installed. When attempting to start the Central Management Server (CMS), with a new user, created while trying to configure the authentication with Active Directory, the operation fails with the following error message appearing in the CMS log file:
"assert failure: (\backend\cms\include\DatabaseSubsystem.h:166). (0 : Oracle database error: ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist)".
