In BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence XI, if the regional settings are defined as French (Swiss), German (Swiss), or Italian (Swiss), the decimal separator is a comma instead of a period in Data Manager.
However, the separator is displayed correctly as a period in the report. This is particularly problematic when creating alerters where a measure value is chosen from a list of values (LOV) because a comma is shown in the LOV. When this occurs, the #Alerter? error appears in the report.
