1207147 - Error: "HTTP 500..," or "Account Information Not Recognized..." when logging on to Java InfoView

Symptom

When logging on to Java InfoView using manual Windows Active Directory (AD) authentication the following error message appears:
 
"Account Information Not Recognized .....".
 
 If Vintela Single Sign-On (SSO) is in use, then the following error message appears instead:
 
"HTTP 500...".
 
The following message is recorded in the Tomcat stdout.log:

"[http-8080-Processor25] ERROR  com.crystaldecisions.sdk.plugin.authentication.ldap.internal.SecWinADAuthentication  -
Cannot create LoginContext. No LoginModules configured for com.businessobjects.security.jgss.initiate".
