1214444 - Parameters still prompt with the EnableParameterPrompting property set to False

• An application uses the Report Designer Component (RDC) to print a report.
• The report contains parameters that are prevented from prompting by setting the Report object's EnableParameterPrompting property to False.
• When printing the report using the PrintOut method, the parameters still prompt for values.
• The parameters do not prompt when viewing the report through the Crystal Reports Viewer.

The EnableParameterPrompting property is designed specifically for use with the Crystal Reports Viewer.

To suppress parameter prompting when printing, you need to set values for the parameters using the ParameterFieldDefinition object. Refer to Note 1209404 for more information.

An alternate method is to use formula fields in the report instead of parameter fields.
