1215709 - Err Msg: "Failed to export the report" when exporting to HTML at runtime

An application uses Crystal Reports as the reporting development tool to export a report to HTML.

When you distribute this application to a client computer and export a report to HTML, the following error message appears:

"Failed to export the report"

How do you resolve this error message?

This error message appears because there are missing runtime files.

To export to HTML format you must include the following runtime files in the "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\bin" folder:

-- PageObjectModel.dll *

-- WebReporting.dll *

-- Commonobjmodel.dll *

* Register this file using regsvr32.exe
