Symptom
An application uses the Report Designer Component (RDC) as the reporting development tool.
The application prints reports directly to a printer, and checks the Progress property of the Reports' PrintingStatus class. The Progress property always returns 3, corresponding with crPrintingCompleted, even if the user cancels the print job.
Why is the status showing crPrintingCompleted when the print job has been cancelled?
Resolution
This is a known issue with Report Designer Component Version 9. This issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00181466.
As of the publish date of this article, there is no file update to correct this issue. There are no known workarounds.
