1217484 - "Error when opening rowset" when reading Informix DateTime data types

Symptom

An SQL statement that contains a WHERE clause references an Informix DateTime (or similar) data type. When the Crystal Reports Designer attempts to run this SQL statement, no data is returned and the following error message appears:

"Error when opening rowset."

Cause

This known issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00370532.

Resolution

Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), this issue is resolved.

Known limitations: This Hot Fix applies to the following drivers:

CR Informix ODBC Driver 4.20 (Datadirect)

INFORMIX 3.80 32 BIT (Informix)

INFORMIX 3.34 32 BIT (Informix)

Unless indicated otherwise, Weekly Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
