Symptom
When exporting a Crystal report that contains formula fields to Microsoft Excel, data in the formula fields are not exported.
Cause
The issue has been identified and tracked under ID ADAPT00283852. It affects the following products:
- Crystal Enterprise (CE) 9
- Crystal Enterprise Report Application Server (CE RAS) 9
- Crystal Reports (CR) 9
Resolution
This issue occurs because the Crystal Report Print Engine does not cache spilled formula fields correctly. Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update, this issue is resolved.
Unless indicated otherwise, Weekly Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.

If you have made any modifications to ePortfolio or Crystal Server Page (CSP) files, this update may overwrite your custom code in CSP files. If you have customized your CSP files, it is recommended to back up your CSP files in the ePortfolio folder before applying updates.
